As my life has begun to speed through the years, I am left with much thinking about what is really important. If I was just a man of the world, then perhaps it would be a legacy or treasures to leave behind.

When younger these thoughts were just fleeting moments and other matters seemed more important. But now, I must ask myself is there anything that is for sure to be of value when this body passes away and the time turns into centuries.

And all I can find in the midst of my labors, in the midst of my fretting about like a bird building a nest, in the days I have had on this earth, only one thing is for sure. The soul will live forever and any soul I had the opportunity to introduce to Jesus is the one for sure thing I did in my life.

This is what God wants me to see. This is why I am left here on this earth, to rescue souls from eternal death, to add another voice of praise to the Holy Father, and to bring glory to God through His great and mighty act of regeneration.

A soul lives forever there is no changing or altering this truth. We may be seen as another human on this earth, but when we leave this earth we will go either to Heaven or to Hell.

As I looked at my life, I saw a man concerned about his accomplishments or his failures and the real truth was what I was not seeing, the winning of souls was all that mattered.

1Peter 4:17,18  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
