John 8:12, Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Mark 13:22, For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
Are we being seduced by the so-called Global Initiative for the Welfare of Humankind? I do not think there is an organized operation that goes by the above name, but it is a generalization used by the spirit of the Anti-Christ through false teachers and false prophets in the free world and the non-free world.
As we live in our houses made of glass, there is an initiative in the final stages coming to fruition that will rock our foundations, it will shake and rattle our little worlds of denial, and shatter our false confessions of being one of Christ’s. Claiming to be a free Christian but still trying to hold onto the same things and use the same excuses as you did when you were the unbeliever has brought us into contention with the Holy Father. If we claim to be a Christ believer, then we will follow Christ the Savior or we will follow the god of this world, the devil;
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes (Mat 7:21-29).
Notice how the people were astonished at Jesus doctrine because He taught with authority. No wonder there is so much deception in the world, how else can you interfere with the Heavenly authority of God the Son. There is nothing in the world, or in the universe, or in hell itself that can stand toe to toe with the Christian God for He is the only true living God. When He speaks, worlds are formed and as He desired it to happen, the human race was created. This is the Jesus I have met. He is not just another prophet because when meeting Jesus I was meeting God the Father.
So what could the devil do now that Jesus Christ had come to earth and destroyed the separation of the human race from God literally making it possible for mankind to come back into the presence of God. Well, he did as he always does, create lies, deception, and appeal to our fleshly natures. This has always worked for him in the past and even now, it is doing quite well in our beloved America and especially in the Christian culture. It has been sad you see, to hear and see so many professing Christian organizations adopting the liberal directives thrust at them from carnal unholy leaders. If the Catholic system can do it for centuries, why not those which broke away from the Catholic system?
What is the purpose of a Christian organization if it adopts the falsehood of social welfare for all humankind, (humankind is an example of global marketing of words for gender equality) instead of the Gospel which is, Christ the only Salvation for humankind. In this day of Easy Believism, the Gospel had to be conformed to the human’s necessities. If we must infuse the acceptation of certain peculiarities humankind may bring to their worship experience, then justify it as a modern worship experience.
Little wonder the Islamic culture is thriving, it conforms the individual and does not let the individual conform it, and people are flocking to it by the millions. Do people want to live under the law and not the grace of God, no but if they are being offered a steadfast appearance of what seems to be a rigid unwavering faith, they are drawn to it like flies. Plus, when there is no spiritual struggle because it is a dead faith in a dead man who created a dead religion, dead people can relate to it.
Let us therefore be awakened to our faith in Christ because He is alive and we are made alive in Him. We serve a risen Savior. We do not have to trust in the words of another man, we trust in the word that was from the beginning and will always be. Yet where is the born again Christian who really believes this?
If we have the mind of Christ in us, then our driving desire should be to do the will of the Father! As Christ fulfilled the will of God and let nothing distract him, so must we or we are in rebellion and are grieving the Holy Spirit. We have surely heard or read stuff like this and probably much more, yet we continue as if all is well because we like this present world. It is tangible, appeals to the flesh, we were made for this world, and for the most part, we fit this world like a glove. But we who have been reborn must question one thing, are we anymore of this world?
Yes, one day my eyes were opened to the truth and I saw that the Son of God truly was real. I even saw myself unworthy and a sinner unable to stand before God. Yes I did confess my sins and was water baptized, expressing to the world and before God that I accept Jesus as my Savior and follow him in the death of my sinful nature and the birth of my new born again spirit. Oh, why does this not stay in the forefront of our minds? Why do we forsake the spirit man for the natural man?
How do we not see what has happened to us? We have been misled into a false sense of spiritual fulfillment because of our enlightenment to the truth. This has not happened through the word of God but has come through the spiritual battles being fought over our minds. If we become new creatures in Christ, then we are new spiritual creatures, we are in essence, back in touch with the spirit world of which we came from.
This is not some form of mysticism, this is reality, this is who we are, we are eternal spiritual beings in a temporary fleshly body. Yet, if we neglect the spiritual, then we leave ourselves open to the deception of the devil. Remember the Jews; how they thought they were the only ones who were privy to God, yet when the truth was before them, they could not see it.
Today, most of us Christians are living like we are special because we have the gift of eternal life. Yes, we are special to God because He gave His Son for us, but are we not still only sinners saved by the grace of God.
From observing several different types of Christian assemblies, it appears at least for now, that most assemblies calling themselves Christian are going through the mechanical motions of a well choreographed play. There are trained actors and actresses, one or more directors, and one or more producers.
This is not what God wants of us. If we think that is worshipping God, then surely we have deceived ourselves and the truth is not in us! Christians, take a look at yourself next time you go to your assembly. If you will observe, what you will see are people indifferent to the moaning of Christ over our un-scriptural attitudes of pomp and self-righteousness.
I am saddened by the continual actions of Christians going through the motions of worship and never coming into the presence of the Living God. It is no wonder we do not see the crumbling of our world around us. Excuse me, we have our heads so far up the worlds butt, we cannot see the light of the world because of the darkness we entertain before we come to our assemblies.
Who is our God anyway, is it the church, the Virgin Mary, the pastor, the priest, the music, the gathering together, the studies, the feasts, just who is our God and where is our God? What happened when the early Christians gathered? They were met by the Holy Spirit, every one’s life was changed, and the gifts of the Spirit were imparted to those who were set aside to do the works of Christ.
It is the Holy Spirit empowered word of God that convicts, awakens, and breathes new life into those whom have come into the presence of God. But it is not something a Music Leader or Preacher can create or produce because of soul stirring music or a powerful oratorical deliverance of the word.
I am one that gets greatly moved by certain Gospel music and by heart rendering stories such as a missionary can tell, but if I do not come into the presence of God when I have said I am going to Christian worship services, then what am I doing, am I mocking God? Am I too full of the world to come into God’s presence? Can I really expect to meet with God after 5 minutes of prayer, 30 minutes of music, and 25 minutes of preaching?
Does it surprise you that with most of the major denominations seeing a reduction in membership counts, that they are struggling with things like,
- Do we accept homosexuals into our midst; after all, our Nation says they are a minority!
- Why not accept friendship with other major religions and publically join with them to usher in world peace?
- Should our main goal be, to show the world that we are sensitive to the needs and welfare of the human race?
- What program can we come up with now to please the people?
I do not know for sure, but think if Martin Luther and John Wesley were around, they would not recognize the Christian, and they themselves, were no way near being saints! Thus, there must be a real Patient God involved in the affairs of men and I proclaim this God to be the God of Christians. Our God is patient, forgiving, longsuffering, merciful, and even allows our folly as we attempt to worship Him. In the past and the present we have turned a spiritual meeting with God into worship of God in flesh and error, although it is suppose to be Spirit and Truth.
Rising up in the midst of all this confusion is the ridiculous Islamic teachings by the Muslims and the outlandish yodeling of the New Age teachings mixed with Hinduism. There is a spiritual movement going on today, but it is not the spiritual movement of the Holy Spirit in the Christians life as being circulated in our ranks. We have exposed our weaknesses to the devil and He knows we are not properly prepared to have our faith challenged.
In the heat of our spiritual battles, it seems our confrontations are overwhelming us and many believers are capitulating. We are talking about millions of professing Christians acting like the rich man; we just cannot give up all our self for faith in Christ. Instead we think to appease God with our good moral values and our public disclosures of looking like we worship God. It is not uncommon to hear and see a good busy-as-a-Christian, Christian, falling for the trickery of universal global acceptance of something or someone just because the name of God is used in their vocabulary when speaking or writing.
To bring this world into Global unification, the real Christian must be silenced and this means the Gospel must be surrendered by the ones whom have been saved by it and it must be rendered ineffective. The following is not listed in chronological order but instead correlates with our current age.
- The first order of business has been to make the Gospel a philosophical guide to prosperity and happiness. No, there is no literal hell or devil, just the love of God as expressed by the social works of Jesus Christ. You cannot really expect a good God to want you to dwell on anything but the good news that we are all God’s children in His eyes. Do not expect to understand the Gospel but we can glean from it the real meaning; and that is to live in harmony with the world by sharing the love of God.
- Secondly, the Gospel is downgraded to just another religion started by people who were disgruntled with the Jewish teachings and the Roman humanistic society. In fact, the Gospel is nothing but the teachings of a carpenter who claimed to be God and ultimately ended up being killed because of his teachings. In other words, Jesus played the role of martyr and his following grew from his death.
- Third, cause doubt to the authenticity of the Bible which contains the written record of the Gospel. Produce numerous translations and paraphrases so everyone will be confused as to which one is the correct translation. Offer them eye and ear pleasing translations and the truth will become second place to the easy reading.
- Fourth, continuing with the Bible, bring out new insight to the writings, compare them to texts that are not in the Bible, and show how the infusion of the corruptible State Church oversaw the putting together of the Bible. Therefore, how can we really know the true Gospel if it was recorded by men and how can we put our faith in the writings of other men and claim to have the truth over any other religion.
From the secular society to the religionist society, from the communist philosophies to the free-thinkers philosophies, from the aristocrats to the paupers, the attack against the Gospel of Jesus Christ is coming to a full frontal attack because the devil thinks he has learned from his many mistakes. The devil cannot use the Christian system when it is near to God to usher in his kingdom. He tried that with the different Christian Organizations through the years and he cannot use force to take control of the world, he has tried that throughout the ages.
But the devil thinks he has figured it out. By the infiltration into the Christian ranks and the watering down of the Gospel, he can move swiftly into the global attitude of a one world system before the born again Christian realizes what is happening. With the tremendous growth of the Islamic religion and their ability to attack Christians publically without repercussion, the devil thinks he has developed a global mindset that will accept anything he concocts.
Has the devil stood before God and accused us as he did Job and are we found wanting? The human race is the same human creation God created. There is nothing new to God and our ways are not a surprise to the Great I Am.
Remember, the Bible is quite explicit on the subject of false teachers and people with itchy ears. Is our modern Christianity pleasing God or have we been seduced into accepting the universal appeal of the Anti-Christ and “turned unto fables”?
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables (2Timothy 4:2-4).
