Face to Face
Zechariah 13, 14, Malachi, and II Peter 2, 3
The Jews were a chosen people of God. We see this by recorded historical records and by the Bible. The Jews were led by the hand of God, fed by the hand of God, guided by the hand of God, and taught by the hand of God how to worship and honor God.
All they had to do was follow God’s directions and He would keep them forever safe as His people. Sadly, there was a problem and it traced back to the Garden of Eden. Even the Jews were ancestors of the first Human Beings and because of the sin of Adam and Eve, all humans would be born into the world with a dead to God spirit.
God worked with the Jews and developed every available physical, material, and mental way possible to allow them a means of forgiveness and sanctification. However, until God worked with the root of the problem, the carnal nature passed down from Adam and Eve, there would be continual rebellion by the Jews and the rest of the human race.
When God eventually brought the prophets on the scene, He desired to extend His grace to His people by giving them warning and a chance to come clean and turn away from their sins and iniquities.
During His dealings with the Jews, God always hinted toward the coming of a day when the ultimate sacrifice would be made to rectify the plight of the Jews and the Human race. So, after all kinds of chances, the Jews eventually ran out of time and the prophecies made by the prophets were fulfilled according to God’s spoken word.
What is recorded in the Bible is for our welfare and our benefit. We that are born into this world still face the same problems as the human race of the past. All our Science, Technology, and Mental enlightenment have not corrected the one thing that is untouchable by human means and abilities. We have no answer or remedy for the spiritual deadness we have toward God.
The God that created us and breathed life into our mortal bodies is separated from us by a single element He calls sin. Because God is true and every man a liar, it does not matter if we believe the Bible or if we can comprehend the ways of God. Everything that God has put into the Bible has happened as written or will happen because God spoke it and His word does not return to Him until it has fulfilled His will.
Therefore, the question God brings to us is the same question the human race must always deal with, do we believe His word and will we accept His word. If His word is true, then surely we are in no position to continue the course we are headed, we must change course now.
Will we awaken to the word of God that is directed to us for our time or will we run out of time. II Peter 3:1-10, was not just written to the believer in Peter’s day, but was also written to us. Is it not possible they are the words of warning for us even as the prophets brought their words of warning to the Jews?
Do we think that the Nation of America with the great blessings bestowed on this nation and the great works that God’s people have done throughout the world has not at least found a little favor with God allowing us the opportunity to be warned and to prepare? Now you may say we have had many opportunities to prepare and have been warned enough.
Yet I say unto you, I have not been awakened to the Holy presence of God as my Savior promised me in His word, and by God’s grace, I am believing that there is more to this Christian walk than making it to the day of physical death. I want to know the glory of God in this life and I want it for my fellow human being even according through the power of the blood of the Savior, the Lamb of God that was slain for you and me.
If all the warnings are already in the Bible, then will God not allow the truth to be broadcast one more time? Are we a nation that has come face to face with God, I think not. However, we are approaching that time and because of the love of God for His children, He is offering the greatest awakening America has ever had the opportunity to experience.
He will do this according to His word by confronting this nation face to face. Our sins and iniquities will be exposed and at that time, we will be awakened to the judgment of God coming upon America. Yes, this is the awakening coming to America and every religious fallacy and every false trust will crumble before God.
Eyes will be opened and ears will hear of the wrath of God and all barriers that have been in place to mislead and blind people to God’s truth will disappear as the beginning of God’s judgment faces America. This will be a short period of time and millions will see the truth, yet will this save America, only God will be the judge of that.
So wake up sleepy Christian. We are coming to the valley of decision and today is the day of preparation. Weep and cry and turn away from the mockers, 2Peter 3:3 – “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts”.
You will not be taken serious those who take this message to heart. Even your own relatives will not accept this. Too many people are caught up in the safety and comfort of their own little worlds and are walking after their own lusts. They will say things like, “we are in God’s will and we are doing His work so let God be in charge and let me do my own thing as it pleases me and leave me alone because you are just taking the times and the scriptures out of context”.
However, brother and sister in Christ, we are coming face to face with God in this life, may we be ready for this awakening coming our way.
